The Passenger seat is removed to give me
an easy low band operation area. The open spot is
for the computer (street atlas, and topo usa.)
My dish must lay down while driving so the hing allow me to have a larger than normal (12foot) antenna
that does not hit the road by haning over the front.
This was the hard part. The hinge. Lots of metal!
I pivot the mast over a solid peice of 1 inch stainless steel bar.
