Space Station Ham Radio Home Page! The ISS crew will NORMALY work daily from 8:00 thru 19:00 UTC and operates ham radio outside these times, except maybe lunch. They are in catch up mode right now and are going on as little as 4hours of sleep per day. For details on their schedule see: Expedition One.
MSNBC SPACE NEWS got the jump on hams with a surprise Scheduled webcast of the first school contact with the ISS. So keep an eye here for other advance words on ISS activities! BTW the station was heard but not good enough to get answers for the kids in Berbank, ILL.
