- Small boat able paved ramp.
- Canoe access.
- NO BIG BOATS and no gas motors allowed. (My kind of Pond!).

- Difficult to wade because the bottom sometimes drops off quickly.
- Bottom is a mixture of mud, tree stumps and rock.
- Very nice park workers even offer fishing advice.
- Lots of stumps and pads/weeds but not all over the place!.
- State park so the lake is all public all the way around.

- I caught a 3lb Bass on my second trip from the shore 200ft from
the ramp.
- I saw a pickerel type fish follow my lure to the beach. It was
about 13inches long.
- Even in cold front conditions in August I have had tons of fun
catching fish.

- Sept 6th 2005 6 hour trip, 13:30 to 19:30
- Sunny 80deg f very light wind to no wind
- So many fish I only walked from the boat ramp down to the south
east corner of the pond.
- 10 Bass caught. Most 12 to 15 inches one was less than 12.
Mostly on 4inch plastic worms.
- many many blue gills. Some up to a whole pound! Goood fighting.
- 2 chain pickerel. One was 18 inches! (no leader, on 2 inch worm
floated near sunset.
- Only caught one yellow perch on a bass worm. saw quite a few
following my lures.
- Most fun spot was the little cove at the south east end of the
pond. Big blue gills were abundant!
- Conclusion, even though I did not have an huge fish I did have
huge fun! Nobody was fishing the entire time I was there. I only
encountered one group of hikers. Blessed solitude. This pond rates a 10
of 10 in my book.
- August 10th.
- 5pm to 8pm right after a thunderstorm. Winds light variable
temp= 73 degrees.
- 10 fish, 1 15 inch bass, two huge pickerel and the rest were
small sun fish.
- The bass was caught on a 1.5inch plastic fish on a treble hook.
- There are spots that seem to have bushes of weeds with areas
that are clear around them. The bass came from one such spot.
