  • There are two parts of this lake. One South of RT 143 and one north.
  • Lake size unknown but it is pretty big. It is NOT a pond.
  • Parking on the south end of the pond near the ramp. There is also limited parking right on RT143..
  • There is a small ramp on the south lake. No ramp in the north lake. The road would inhibit any larger ski boats.
  • Canoe access seems to be prefered. I have seen a few canoes on this lake.
  • Property owners have some bigger boats but most are pontoon.
  • There IS some Water Skiing.
  • Much of the shore of the lake but not all is developed.
  • Bottom seems to be mostly mud but there is sand about 1/2 mile east of the ramp after the rock wall.
  • Lots of pads/weeds but not all over the place!.
  • About 1/2 mile of shore to the east of the ramp.
  • Fish:
    • small yellow perch
    • small Blue Gills
    • Red Eye Rock Bass.
    • This Lake is rated as an Best bets for Bass lake but I have not caught a bass there yet.
  • DFW Map.
  • GPS: N42 25.743 W73 5.135 (entrance)
First trip I  spent 1 hour at this lake near sunset along the east shore.

My second trip to this lake is with my son Jon on a Sunday in July. It was a little cool and windy and chance of t-storms. Only caught the little Red Eye rock Bass. Not much fun. We fished from rocky shore again with the risky weather. So we have not given this lake a fair shot yet.
