This project is not operational yet but I am going to collect history and other information here.
Bob KA1OA passed away March 19, 2009. On March 22nd we were informed that NoBarc had been approached by Rose to see if NoBarc would consider taking over 145.27 and keep it on the air. At our Board meeting we voted to help. Tom WA1MJE was the point of contact with Rose. Rose wrote a letter for us to use to obtain and keep the KA1OA callsign in memory of Bob. Tom is taking care of moving that call over to NoBarc. Tom will also be the trustee for that call. N1WM and K1FFK are currently trusteed but Eric KA1SUN.
As of 7/3/2009 WA1MJE informed NoBarc that the FCC has approved the KA1OA callsign was set up for NoBarc and TOM has put the repeater ON THE AIR!
